Job summary

Arc After School & Experiential Education is seeking a Part-time Specialized Instructor to develop and deliver interactive enrichment lessons. You will manage daily attendance, adhere to safety protocols, and collaborate with Site Coordinator to meet program needs.

The role requires experience with specialized curricula, school-based settings, and working with diverse communities. LAUSD requirements may apply; CPR and Live Scan clearance are expected. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

Availability to work set school programming hours, including early dismissal days and weekends as assigned.
Experience facilitating specialized curriculum to students.
Experience working in school settings, after school programs, or youth recreational facilities.
Experience in working with ethnic and culturally diverse communities.
TB Test Clearance & Live Scan Clearance (Background check).
For LAUSD placed must obtain LAUSD SSO and complete requisite Risk Management Training (RMT).
Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Current CPR Certification adult, child, and infant.
Certifications and teacher credentials on file for higher levels.

Responsibilities

Develop and facilitate a full syllabus and lesson plans for enrichment activities.
Manage students sign in and out, incident reports, and program compliance.
Instruct the enrichment time block and maintain student-instructor ratio.
Market and advertise the enrichment program on campus and recruit students.
Demonstrate leadership and empower youth to reach their potential.
Ensure safety protocols are followed in indoor and outdoor settings.
