Job summary

arc seeks a part-time Specialized Instructor to develop and deliver enrichment lessons across Levels I–III at partner schools. You will create syllabi, recruit participants, manage sign-in/out, and uphold safety and program compliance.

The role requires classroom leadership, experience with diverse youth, and Spanish bilingual skills. 48+ college units or CAPE, TB Live Scan clearance, and CPR certification are required. This is a non-exempt, on-site position reporting to the Site Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Experience working in school settings, after-school programs, or youth recreational facilities.
• Experience in working with ethnic and culturally diverse communities.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Availability to work set school programming hours, including early dismissal days and weekends as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate a full syllabus and lesson plans for enrichment activities.
• Manage students sign in and out of program and complete incident reports.
• Instruct scheduled enrichment time blocks and maintain required student-instructor ratios.
• Market and advertise the program on campus to recruit participants.
