Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years building complex applications and integrating APIs.
• Proficient with Elixir and other languages.
• Experience using AI tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and detailed technical direction across the delivery lifecycle.
• Own and execute the team’s technical solution ensuring scalability and alignment with architecture.
• Lead backlog refinement from a technical perspective and ensure executable work.
• Drive integration contracts, API design, and adherence to guardrails.
• Own non-functional requirements including performance, resiliency, and observability.
• Support test strategy and release readiness with quality gates.
• Guide deployments and production incident response with leadership.
• Collaborate with managers, architects, QA, and engineers for alignment.
• Implement engineering process improvements and stay updated on tech trends.
• Foster a collaborative culture emphasizing innovation and growth.
