Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking an Engineering & Product Design Manager to lead the Diamond Vision Systems Division.

This hands-on leader will coordinate with overseas factories, guide system designs, and drive quality initiatives while supporting global product development and continuous improvement. The role requires close collaboration with engineering staff, addressing complex technical challenges, and aligning project execution with customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership and engineering coordination experience.
• Experience leading engineering projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical background in electrical/electronic systems or automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Operations and align activities with division objectives and commitments.
• Work hands-on with engineers to design, review, and solve complex problems in real time.
• Drive root cause analysis and resolution to improve product and system performance.
• Oversee supplier selection, development, and performance management.
• Act as the primary liaison between the division and overseas manufacturing partners.
• Improve engineering processes and development strategies across global factories.
• Support resolution of advanced system issues and warranty challenges.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for engineering staff.
• Contribute technical expertise to marketing and customer engagements.
