Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. in Warrendale is seeking a Design Engineer II to design, test, and support Diamond Vision LED displays across their lifecycle.

You will work with overseas teams to develop new products and drive improvements, while enhancing quality, reliability, and cost through engineering design changes. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field and 3+ years of product design or quality engineering experience, with familiarity in FAT and BOM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product design, quality engineering or related engineering role.
• Experience supporting products through full engineering lifecycle from design to field support.
• Knowledge of supplier quality and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support Diamond Vision LED video displays.
• Collaborate with overseas factory engineering teams to develop new products and drive improvements.
• Improve product quality, reliability and cost through design enhancements.
• Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement using QRS.
• Collaborate with suppliers in FATs and issue resolution.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation (BOMs, specs, drawings).
• Provide technical support to internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
