Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to lead the vision for their product portfolio in the Americas. You will align the organization to deliver valuable outcomes for customers and the business, develop strategies, and drive growth with bi-annual plans.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial automation, cross-functional collaboration, and strong communication skills. Travel of 25% within the US and occasional international travel to Japan is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing or business related field.
• 4+ years of professional industrial automation experience in sales, marketing, and/or applications engineering.
• Technical/commercial knowledge of industrial automation products (VFDs, Servo/Motion, PLC, HMI, CNC, Robot and Networks).
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops the product portfolio business plan aligned with sales and market expansion goals.
• Communicate product vision, messaging, and strategy with senior leaders.
• Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle including development, launches, growth, and end-of-life.
• Support pricing and margin analysis and inform pricing decisions.
• Partner with sales to understand customer challenges and translate insights into product requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams to define requirements and prioritize work.
• Support go-to-market launches, positioning, segmentation, and messaging.
• Monitor product performance and surface insights for data-driven decisions.
• Build relationships with cross-functional partners to execute initiatives.
• Backup resource for group product strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
