Job summary

Epicor is seeking an Engineering Team Lead in Austin to design and deliver innovative software while guiding a small development team. You will architect scalable systems, balance business priorities with product health, and ensure features move from planning to release with ongoing support.

You will lead architectural efforts, coach engineers, and drive best practices across code quality, testing, and tooling, partnering with Product, QA, and other teams to plan and deliver enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with goals and standards.
• Lead a small team through coaching, onboarding, and career development.
• Drive engineering excellence via code reviews, testing practices, tooling, and standards.
• Collaborate with Product Management, QA, and engineering to plan, estimate, and deliver new features.
• Own team execution: break down initiatives, remove blockers, manage risks, and support releases.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and clear communication across the team and organization.
