Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Maintenance I Technician to perform general and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, structures and grounds in our Tennessee DC.

You will repair equipment, install electrical components, and keep systems like conveyors and HVAC in good working order. Must have a high school diploma and 1–2 years of maintenance experience; familiarity with MSDS, safety rules, and basic tools is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to read MSDS and follow safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Knowledge of conveyors, electrical systems and building maintenance.
• Read and interpret manuals/blueprints when performing repairs.

Responsabilités

• Perform general repairs on equipment and install/repair electrical components.
• Complete routine maintenance such as changing bulbs and cleaning equipment.
• Paint, plaster, plumbing and carpentry related tasks for buildings/grounds.
• Inspect and maintain material handling batteries, conveyors and related systems.
• Assist skilled staff in piping, gauges, valves and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure efficient operations; work across shifts.
