Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Distribution Center Maintenance I Technician for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 4pm-12:30am). The role involves general and preventive maintenance of equipment, machinery, structures, and grounds at our distribution center.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of related maintenance experience; familiarity with MSDS and CMMS software is a plus. Physical demands include lifting up to 50-100 lbs, with attention to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–2 years maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in a distribution center or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read MSDS and follow safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs on equipment.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers, lights, outlets, circuit breakers, wiring and components.
• Complete minor and routine maintenance like changing light bulbs and cleaning equipment.
• Paint, plaster, and perform building/grounds maintenance including plumbing and carpentry.
• Inspect, maintain and repair material handling batteries, equipment, and conveyors.
