Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Maintenance I Technician to perform general and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, structures and grounds.

Responsibilities include repairs on equipment, electrical components, conveyors, and related systems, plus assisting with pipe systems and preventive tasks while following all safety guidelines to ensure efficient operations. The role may involve multiple shifts and locations as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–2 years maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of conveyor systems, electrical, building and HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read MSDS and follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Install/repair electrical components and perform preventive maintenance under supervision.
• Assist with disassembly/assembly of pipe systems and related hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Maintain safety practices, housekeeping and PPE compliance.
