Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Indiana seeks a Distribution Center Facilities Advance Technician to support the Facilities Manager in mentoring the team, performing inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, coordinate daily workload, and work with vendors while following safety guidelines. Familiarity with CMMS and blueprints is expected; shifts may vary to meet center needs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two to four years related experience and/or training.
Minimum two years maintenance experience in a distribution center or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Perform all levels of technical repairs on equipment and machinery.
Install and repair electrical equipment, lights, outlets, wiring, and components on equipment.
Coordinate with Facilities Manager on daily workload.
Inspect, test and audit machinery and equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and MHE components and structures per manuals.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair malfunctions promptly.
Organize and perform maintenance tasks and follow-up on work orders.
Work with vendors and contractors as needed.
