Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of its service excellence. You will assist customers, use U-Scan tech to manage rentals, and help inspect and move equipment at the lot. The job includes on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement.

Two hands-on interviews are paid, plus a $100 hiring bonus and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of the equipment inspection program at participating stores.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluids checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Propane filling (certification offered on employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
