Northeast Community College in West Point, NE seeks a Building Construction Trainer to deliver high-quality instruction and hands-on training in carpentry and related trades at the West Point Extended Campus.

Under minimal supervision, the trainer develops curriculum aligned with industry standards, supports student success, and integrates safety, codes, and emerging technologies into the program, across residential and commercial settings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in construction-related field required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum three years hands-on construction experience and related teaching or training preferred.
• Strong knowledge of codes, blueprints, specs, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction and hands-on training in carpentry and related trades.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance curriculum aligned with industry needs.
• Provide instruction across residential and commercial construction topics.
• Integrate safety standards and emerging construction technologies into the program.
