Job summary

Southeast Community College seeks an Adjunct Instructor for Building Construction Technology (PTT) to deliver courses across classroom, lab, and distance formats, including the Prison Education Program. Qualifications

• AAS Degree in Building Construction or related field; two years of current work experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Ten years of relevant work experience and ability to complete an AAS in Building Construction within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary instruction to diverse student populations in residential and light commercial construction topics.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional sheets, and tests.
• Maintain labs and equipment and ensure safety and proper use of tools.
• Advise students on coursework, progress, and graduation requirements.
• Maintain records using Canvas, Web Advisor, and HUB; assist with purchasing and inventory.
