Northeast Community College seeks a Building Construction Trainer for the West Point Extended Campus. This on-campus, in-person role delivers instruction in carpentry and construction, develops curriculum, and offers hands-on learning across multiple formats and locations.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in construction or related field, with a preference for a bachelor's, and at least three years of hands-on construction experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Combination of industry certifications and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in residential and commercial construction, project supervision, apprenticeship training, workforce development, or construction trades education preferred.
• Ability to teach and mentor students in carpentry and building trades.

• Develop and maintain curriculum aligned with industry standards and workforce needs.
