Job summary

Qualifications

• Post-secondary CTE credential with 4000 non-teaching hours in last 7 years.
• Associate degree or higher in Carpentry, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
• Significant industry experience in residential construction, remodeling, carpentry, or related areas.
• Experience teaching or mentoring in construction, carpentry, or workforce training settings.
• OSHA 10, NCCER, or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and hands-on instruction in carpentry and skilled trades.
• Prepare syllabi, maintain grading records, and submit final grades by deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Director of Skilled Trades and program leadership to ensure curriculum alignment.
• Support student learning, safety, and workforce readiness.
