Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Technician to perform testing on ready-mix concrete and aggregates at plants and on job sites. You will collect data, monitor mix performance, and assist in communicating quality concerns to operations teams.

No prior concrete QC experience is required as training will be provided; candidates should be comfortable in outdoor plant environments and capable of standing, walking, and performing physical testing throughout the

Qualifications

• Strong basic math skills including algebra and calculations.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in recording results.
• Effective communication with operations teams and drivers.
• Ability to learn company systems and use basic computer tools.
• Willingness to work in hands-on plant and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on quality control testing on ready-mix concrete and aggregates in plant and field environments.
• Complete aggregate moisture testing and routine quality checks to support daily production.
• Monitor concrete performance and adjust mixes/admixtures based on results.
• Communicate quality concerns to operations teams and drivers.
• Collect, document, and maintain test results and quality records.
• Assist with plant/operational tasks as needed and travel between sites.
