Job summary

Securitas Technology seeks a commissioning engineer to lead startup and delivery of electrical control and automation systems. You will interface with customers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure on-time project completion.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, verifying designs, and traveling up to 75% to support installations and commissioning activities across projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Non-degree with 4-6 years of commissioning experience in control systems.
• Familiarity with networks and Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Ability to complete a startup without additional assistance.
• Take ownership of assigned projects.
• Verify quality of designs and software.
• Ability to manage subcontractors on large projects.
• Coordinate project activities with appropriate parties internally and externally.
• Direct customer, subcontractor, internal resource communications.
• Coordinate multiple simultaneous projects.
• Perform minor tweaks of software functions.
• Assist with prototyping projects.
• Perform training as required on implemented control systems.
• Create O&M documents upon completion of a project.
• Travel target 75%.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
