Job summary

Engineering Excellence Incorporated is seeking an HVAC technician to diagnose and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, while delivering excellent customer service. You will train with senior technicians, learn to operate assistive business systems, and support service delivery with proper parts handling and safety practices.

The role focuses on hands-on learning, maintaining high workmanship quality, and joining a team that values safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• certificate in HVAC from an accredited college or career center.
• EPA 608 Refrigeration license, Universal license preferred.
• Proven mechanical aptitude.
• Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various projects.
• Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.
• The ability to work overtime and weekend hours as required.
• The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for learning the process of analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving customer concerns in commercial environments.
• Train with senior technicians and work to become self sufficient in performing service on commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories.
• Ability to navigate and use smart phone to support business systems
• Proper use of all IVR systems and proper check in and out with EE dispatchers.
• Responsible for delivery and removal of equipment and parts needed to complete service work.
• Responsible for providing excellent service to commercial customers and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer concerns, questions or problems in an effective manner.
• Prepare material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels.
• Other duties include performing maintenance on equipment, servicing and/or cleaning IAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and performing minor field fabrication.
