Job summary

Air Products is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer of Automation to support critical IT–OT technology on the factory floor. You will diagnose and resolve production-impacting issues, work with Operations, Engineering, and cybersecurity teams, and ensure reliable plant operations.

The role requires strong problem-solving, safety focus, and ownership of issues from detection to resolution, with on-site responsibility in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Tier 2/3 IT/OT environments on a manufacturing floor.
• Proven ability to diagnose issues across applications, servers, and industrial systems.
• Familiarity with software lifecycle, upgrades, and patching.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production-impacting issues on IT and OT systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Cybersecurity, IT, and vendors to ensure reliability.
• Communicate technically to non-technical stakeholders and document resolutions.
