Job summary

STARC Systems Inc. in Brunswick, Maine, is seeking an entry-level Associate Assembly Technician (1st Shift) to perform basic assembly, packing, inspection, and production support under supervision. Training will be provided and progression will be based on proficiency.

You will read work orders, BOMs, and drawings, use hand tools and measuring devices, and help maintain a safe, clean 5S workplace; forklift certification may be pursued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• On-the-job training provided; prior production experience not required.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers).
• Willingness to learn to operate basic production equipment after training.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned production tasks including basic assembly, packing, material handling, and inspection.
• Perform basic assembly operations on assigned product lines with approved tools and methods.
• Assist with secondary operations and operate equipment after training and authorization.
• Clean, label, and pack finished products according to shipping standards.
• Notify leads or supervisors of questions, delays, or material concerns.
