Job summary

STARC Systems, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to support primary and secondary assembly, operate machining equipment, and ensure quality on the shop floor. You will maintain inventory, follow SOPs, and follow safety guidelines while contributing to timely delivery of products.

This second-shift role requires reading work orders, BOMs, and drawings, with a focus on accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, assembly drawings, BOMs, and SOPs.
• Basic math and ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers).
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic manufacturing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, machine operation, packing, and inspection.
• Perform primary and secondary assembly across all product lines.
• Operate secondary machining equipment including saws, drill press, and other tools.
• Clean and pack finished product to shipping standards.
• Support production scheduling by completing work orders accurately and on time.
• May obtain forklift certification.
• Identify and communicate non-conforming product or process deviations.
• Follow SOPs and quality checklists.
• Maintain inventory levels and keep a safe, clean workspace.
• Adhere to OSHA safety policies and participate in safety training.
