Job summary

STARC Systems in Brunswick, Maine is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform production tasks including assembly, machining, packing, and inspection. You will support primary assembly operations, quality checks, and general shop floor activities while maintaining safety and efficiency.

This second shift position offers hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with pay ranging from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Compensation and benefits vary by factors such as experience and location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in production/manufacturing preferred; on-the-job training.
• Ability to read work orders, BOMs, and SOPs.
• Basic math and measurement with tools.
• Experience with hand/power tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, machine operation, packing, and inspection.
• Perform primary and secondary assembly operations across product lines.
• Operate secondary machining equipment including saws, drill press, and other machinery.
• Clean and pack finished product to shipping standards.
• Support production scheduling by completing assigned work orders on time.
• May be asked to obtain forklift certification.
• Includes other duties as assigned that support the role.
