Skyworks Solutions, Inc. invites an AI/ML Summer Intern to join the enterprise AI/ML engineering team in Irvine, CA. The role is full-time and hands-on, guiding data gathering, prototyping, and deployment of ML solutions across the company.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers on real projects, taking ownership from data analysis to implementation and documentation in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in CS/Data Science/EE/Mech/IE.
• Must be able to relocate temporarily to Irvine, CA for May–Aug 2027 (3 months).
• Experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch.
• Familiarity with VSCode or similar IDEs; able to learn code assistance tools quickly.
• Willingness to learn company-specific tools (Agentic AI, LangChain, LangGraph, Genie, Databricks, PowerBI).

Responsibilities

• Support AI/ML engineering efforts across multiple business units.
• Lead small end-to-end projects under supervision.
• Gather/analyze data to identify AI/ML opportunities.
• Develop core use-case functionality in Python; document progress.
• Design workflows and deploy AI/ML solutions with cross-functional teams.
