Job summary

Skyworks Solutions is seeking an AI/ML Co-Op to join our enterprise AI/ML engineering team in Irvine. This hands-on, full-time co-op role runs January through June 2027 and offers the opportunity to design, build, and deploy machine learning solutions that support engineering and business teams.

You will work closely with experienced engineers, take ownership of small projects end to end—from data gathering and analysis to prototyping, implementation, and documentation—and gain practical

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Must be able to relocate temporarily to Irvine, CA for Jan–June 2027.
• Experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks; familiarity with AI algorithms.
• Familiarity with IDEs (e.g., VSCode) and learning company-specific tooling.

Responsibilities

• Support AI/ML engineering efforts across multiple business units.
• Lead small projects end-to-end under supervision.
• Gather and analyze data to identify AI/ML opportunities.
• Develop code for core use-case functionality and prototype solutions.
• Document deliverables and provide reports on progress.
