Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking an AI/ML Intern in Irvine, CA, to join the enterprise AI/ML engineering team. This hands-on, full-time internship runs Jan–Jun or May–Dec 2027, with relocation to Irvine required.

You will design, build, and deploy ML solutions supporting engineering and business units. You will work with experienced engineers on end-to-end projects, from data gathering to prototyping, implementation, and documentation, while gaining practical experience with modern AI/ML

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student in CS/DS/EE/ME/IE pursuing an internship.
• Relocation to Irvine, CA for Jan–Jun or May–Dec 2027 is required.
• Experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch).
• Ability to learn company tools quickly (LangChain, LangGraph, Genie, Databricks, PowerBI).
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support AI/ML engineering efforts across business units.
• Lead small projects end-to-end under supervision.
• Gather/analyze data to identify AI/ML opportunities.
• Develop core use-case code with guidance and gradually work independently.
• Document progress and deliverables; assist with reporting.
