Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking an AI/ML Co-Op to join our enterprise AI/ML engineering team in Irvine.

This hands-on, full-time role lets you design, build, and deploy ML solutions that support multiple business units. You will own small projects end-to-end—from data gathering and analysis to prototyping and documentation—while gaining practical experience with modern AI/ML tooling in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Current junior/senior undergraduate or graduate student studying Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering for Co-Op in Irvine, CA.
• Must be able to relocate to work full-time Jan–June 2027 at this location.
• Experience using Python and AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch.
• Proficiency using VS Code or other IDEs; quickly learn company-specific tools (Agentic AI, LangChain, LangGraph, Genie, Databricks, PowerBI).

Responsibilities

• Support AI/ML engineering efforts across multiple business units.
• Lead small projects end-to-end under supervision; gather data, prototype, implement and document.
• Develop code for core use cases with guidance and gradually work independently.
• Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy solutions.
• Assist with documentation, reporting, and project deliverables.
