Job summary

Skyworks Solutions is seeking an AI/ML Summer Intern to join our enterprise AI/ML engineering team. This is a hands-on, full-time engineering role in which you will help design, build, and deploy machine learning solutions that support engineering and business teams across the company.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will take ownership of small projects end to end - from data gathering and analysis through prototyping, implementation, and documentation - while building practical

Qualifications

Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in CS/DS/engineering fields.
Must be able to relocate temporarily to Irvine, CA for May/June to Aug/Sept 2027.
Experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch).
Familiarity with IDEs like VS Code and AI tooling such as LangChain and Databricks.

Responsibilities

Gathering and analyzing engineering and business data to identify AI/ML opportunities.
Developing core use-case code with guidance and increasing independence.
Designing procedures and workflows for AI/ML projects.
Identifying bottlenecks and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy solutions.
Assisting with documentation, reporting, and project deliverables.
