MK Search is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to serve as a key in-house accounting resource and provide oversight of day-to-day activities across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with multiple entities and intercompany accounting.
• Experience with sales and use tax, 1099 reporting.
• Strong reconciliations and financial reporting knowledge.
• Hands-on role with no direct personnel management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting across multiple entities.
• Perform reconciliations of bank, credit cards, vendors, intercompany, and GL.
• Maintain records using QuickBooks and ensure proper entity allocations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Support sales/use tax filings and 1099 reporting.
• Collaborate with CPAs, banks, and insurance providers.
• Identify improvements to controls and processes.
• Provide guidance to accounting team without direct management.
