Genie Matthews and Associates is hiring a Hand Welder & Fabricator for its West Bend, WI operation. The role focuses on hand welding, finishing, and precision assembly for custom tools, dies, and stampings in a 1st shift, on-site environment.

The position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and safety, with options for overtime and a benefits package including health/dental/vision coverage and a 401(k). Training is available for motivated entrants to expand welding skills.

Qualifications

• US work authorization required (Citizen or Green Card holder).
• Able to commute within a 45-minute radius of West Bend, WI.
• Welding/finishing experience preferred; training available for motivated candidates.

Responsabilités

• Perform hand welding (MIG/TIG/Arc) on custom stampings, dies, fixtures, and prototypes.
• Carry out metal finishing, grinding, deburring, and surface preparation to quality standards.
• Inspect weld quality to ISO-like standards and customer specs.
• Set up and maintain welding fixtures, tools, and workstations; keep workspace organized 5S.
• Support production goals and OT opportunities during peak periods.
