Job summary

Arhaus Upholstery in Conover, NC is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to inspect sofas and chairs at different production stages to ensure a quality product is produced. You will check stitching, upholstery, finishes, and overall workmanship against production tickets.

The role requires reading rulers, interpreting orders, and communicating nonconformance clearly. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work weekends/overtime, and maintain strict attention to detail in a fast-paced factory

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a ruler.
• Must be able to read an order ticket.
• Must be able to tell the difference in finishes of the legs.
• Must have strong English language skills, including reading, comprehending, speaking, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Stitches are straight.
• Ensure pattern is correct according to production ticket.
• Ensure piece is Upholstered correctly to specifications.
• Ensure there are no holes or flaws in the Fabric / Leather.
• Ensure legs and finishes of legs are correct.
• Make repairs as needed.
• Push piece back to upholster to correct issues.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Stitches are straight
• Ensure pattern is correct according to production ticket
• Ensure piece is Upholstered correctly to specifications
• Ensure there are no holes or flaws in the Fabric / Leather
• Ensure legs and finishes of legs are correct
• Make repairs as needed

Push piece back to upholster to correct issues

Other duties as assigned by the Manager

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.
