Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy in New York invites licensed hand therapists to join our team. The role supports both occupational and physical therapists focused on hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder rehabilitation, with mentorship, advanced training, and hands-on practice.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a license to practice Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy in New York.
• Completed Level II fieldwork in hand therapy or outpatient rotation.
• Commitment to hand therapy through continuing education or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and progress individualized treatment plans including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, custom orthotic fabrication, and patient education.
• Empower patients with home programs and strategies to support goals and recovery.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
