Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking motivated OT/PTs to advance hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation in New York. You will develop personalized treatment plans, perform manual therapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Hold a license (or be license eligible) to practice Occupational or Physical Therapy in the State of New York.
• Completed Level II fieldwork placement or outpatient rotation in hand therapy OR equivalent experience.
• Commitment to hand therapy through continuing education coursework or certifications if transitioning from another area.
• Aim to become a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) with team support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and progress individualized treatment plans including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, orthotic fabrication, and patient education.
• Empower patients with home programs and strategies supporting functional goals and recovery.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional outcomes.
