Job summary

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking motivated occupational or physical therapists to specialize in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation in New York. You will build on a solid hand therapy foundation through mentorship, advanced training, and hands-on practice.

Responsibilities include designing individualized treatment plans, educating patients, and collaborating with physicians to ensure excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate of Occupational Therapy degree.
• License to practice Occupational Therapy in New York State.
• Completion of Level II fieldwork or outpatient rotation in hand therapy or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and progress individualized treatment plans including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, orthotic fabrication, and patient education.
• Empower patients with home programs and strategies to support functional goals and recovery.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
