Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, fabricate orthoses, and guide care alongside hand surgeons and therapists.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with preferred DPT/OT credentials and 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab. Expect collaborative teamwork, documentation accuracy, and opportunities for advancement in a supportive setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required and licensure in PT or OT where applicable.
• Graduate with an OT program or DPT preferred; CHT credential encouraged.
• 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab and outpatient therapy desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of OT/PT services.
• Direct and supervise assistants, students, and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative cases.
• Provide scar management, edema control, wound care, and return-to-work rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other healthcare professionals; participate in care planning.
