Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The role includes evaluation, custom splinting, and recovery planning within a collaborative care team.

Responsibilities include orthotic fabrication, patient education on orthosis wear, and directing assistants and students. Requires OT/PT licensure and CHT credential, with strong emphasis on documentation and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for eligibility.
• Advanced degree in PT or OT preferred.
• Graduate of accredited OT program.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and establish plan of care.
• Provide hand/upper-extremity rehabilitation and splinting.
• Supervise OT assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehab including scar management and return-to-work.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians.
