Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The role includes patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans.

You will supervise OT Assistants and students, fabricate orthoses, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning to optimize outcomes for post-surgical and injury rehabilitation patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Directs and supervises OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Post-surgical and injury rehabilitation including scar management and wound care.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
