Job summary

TurbineAero is seeking a detail-oriented hand finish technician for on-site work in Tempe, AZ. The role requires hands-on grinding, deburring, and inspection using standard tools and procedures within a cross-trained environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in component repair and familiarity with inspection tooling. FAA Part 145 awareness and Lean/5S experience are preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Description

With little supervision, perform hand finishing, deburring and inspection, using appropriate tooling as required.

This position requires a positive attitude. Cross training is mandatory in various disciplines within the hand finish area.

• Clean and grit blast


• Read, interpret and execute work instructions.


• Follow all company policies including safety instructions.


• Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.


• Maintain a neat and orderly workstation and promote overall good housekeeping practices.


• High School Diploma/GED, or equivalent experience.


• 2 years’ experience in component repair


• 2 years’ experience with inspection tooling and processes


• Familiar with FAA part 145 Repair Stations, understands and can apply regulatory requirements (preferred)


• Demonstrated experience with Lean and 5S principles (preferred)
