Job summary

TurbineAero is seeking a Coating Operator to operate automated and manual coating furnace equipment in aerospace production. You will handle powder mix preparation, loading/unloading, and running coating cycles while ensuring quality and process adherence.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years with similar equipment, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capability to read mechanical drawings; aerospace experience is a plus. Training and safety protocols apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with similar equipment, processes, tools and machining operations.
• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Prior aerospace industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic and manual coating furnace equipment.
• Pack parts into tooling and fill with coating powders.
• Load/unload and start/end coating runs in the coating furnace.
• Unload parts and demask masked components.
• May assist other departments to maintain production flow as directed by shift supervisor.

Coating Operator - Aerospace Job Duties

• Equipment includes powder mixers, powder sifters, grit blast machines, coating furnaces, coating control panels.
• Performs packing of parts into tooling and filling with coating powders.
• Performs loading/unloading as well as starting/ending of coating runs in the coating furnace.
• Performs unloading of parts from tooling and demasking masked parts.
• At the discretion of the Shift Supervisor (Lead) the employee may be required to work in other departments to help maintain the flow of production to meet customer commitments.

• The work environment: temperature, noise levels, inside or outside, or other factors that might affect the person’s working conditions while performing the job.
• The physical demands of the job include standing, bending, sitting, lifting, ability to lift 50lbs, and forklift driving.
