Description

With little supervision, perform hand finishing, deburring and inspection using appropriate tooling as required. This position requires a positive attitude. Cross training is mandatory in various disciplines within the hand finish area.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand finishing, deburring, and inspection using appropriate tooling.
• Hand grind various airfoil shapes to their finish contour and dimension.
• Chamfer, radius, and grind parts to blueprints and work instructions.
• Read and understand basic diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Read, interpret, and execute work instructions.
• Follow all company policies, including safety instructions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain a neat and orderly workstation and promote overall good housekeeping practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 2 years’ experience in component repair.
• 2 years’ experience with inspection tooling and processes.
• Familiar with FAA Part 145 Repair Stations and able to apply regulatory requirements (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience with Lean and 5S principles (preferred).
