Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) invites applications for a Lecturer based at Gateway campus. You will deliver high-quality Hairdressing teaching, assessment and academic support to empower learners on their progression journey.

The role involves curriculum design input, student recruitment activities, and maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge across digital and in-person teaching modalities. A supportive environment and ongoing professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• Delivering inclusive, high-standard teaching, learning, and assessment in Hairdressing.
• Supporting curriculum design to meet current regulations and industry standards.
• Monitoring and guiding student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression with tailored guidance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inclusive, high-standard teaching, learning and assessment in Hairdressing.
• Support curriculum design to ensure programmes meet regulations and industry standards.
• Monitor and support student recruitment, retention, achievement and progression.
• Actively contribute to student recruitment through interviews, open days and guidance activities.
• Maintain current subject knowledge and effective teaching practices (digital and face-to-face).
