Ideal candidates hold City & Guilds Level 3 in Dog Grooming and a teaching qualification (Level 3 Award in Education and Training); DBS check required. Willingness to travel to Farnborough and contribute to course development.

Qualifications

• Qualified dog groomers with City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming.
• Teaching qualification (Level 3 Award in Education and Training) preferred but not essential.
• DBS check required before starting teaching role.
• Willingness to discuss funding your teaching qualification while you work with us.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical lessons and assessments for students in dog grooming.
• Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Provide individual support and adapt teaching to diverse learning styles.
• Interview and select prospective students for programs and assess suitability.
• Develop teaching materials and keep course content up to date.
• Manage administrative tasks like attendance tracking and progress records.
• Represent Upper Hound at open days and other events.
