Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Chemist for a 10-month assignment in Darien, CT. The role pays $39.00–$40.00 per hour and requires a BS/MS in Chemistry or a related field with 0–4 years of experience, or relevant background in hair color/care or consumer products formulation.

Responsibilities include making lab batches, performing product stability tests, evaluating color performance, and recording results.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 0-4 years of experience (or)
• Prior experience in Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and analytical skills. Quick learner.
• Strong data management (excel etc.)

Responsibilities

• Make hair color laboratory batches and conduct product stability testing.
• Evaluate color performance and report results.
• Operate lab equipment (batching equipment, pH meters, viscometer) and liaise with raw material suppliers.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, and waste; report stability results.
