Job summary

SkyTECH Staffing Solutions is seeking a hands-on Chemist to support laboratory development and testing of hair color products in a formulation-focused role. This position requires real-world lab batch experience and comfort with documenting results.

The successful candidate will prepare hair color batches, conduct stability testing, operate equipment, and ensure CGMP compliance while maintaining safe handling of bulk materials onsite. Proficiency with Excel and data management is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 0–4 years of hands-on lab/formulation experience.
• Experience in Hair Color, Hair Care, or Consumer Products formulation.
• Hands-on experience preparing lab batches/formulations.
• Experience with product stability testing and/or evaluation.
• Strong Excel and data-management skills.
• Able to document and communicate lab results accurately.
• Familiar with CGMP/lab practices.
• Willingness to work onsite and handle bulk materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hair color laboratory batches
• Conduct product stability testing
• Prepare laboratory/consumer samples and hair tresses
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Record, analyze, and report laboratory results
• Maintain laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, and waste
• Follow CGMP and laboratory safety practices
• Support formulation and efficacy/stability evaluations
