Job summary

Globalchannelmanagement is seeking a Chemist in Darien, CT to develop hair color laboratory batches and support product stability studies. The role requires hands-on experience with lab batching, CGMP practices, and interaction with raw material suppliers.

The candidate should have a BS/MS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and 0–4 years of related experience, with strong data management skills and excellent communication abilities. Light lifting and sample preparation are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field plus 0-4 years of experience.
• Prior experience in hair color/care or consumer products formulation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and analytical skills. Quick learner.
• Strong data management (Excel, etc.).
• Experience with lab equipment such as batching equipment, pH meters, viscometers, and interaction with raw material suppliers, a plus.
• Ability to lift bulk materials, fill consumer laboratory samples, and prepare hair tresses with application of consumer products and CGMP practices required.
