Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is hiring a Hair Color Bar Assistant, licensed cosmetologist, to support licensed colorists and leadership. You will learn services, assist with consultations, and help guests choose the right color while delivering a polished experience.

The role offers base hourly pay plus commissions and tips, with potential earnings ranging from $30 to $31 per hour for this location. Availability at peak times is required to best serve guests.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail sales is welcomed.
• Clear communication and problem solving in a fast-paced retail/salon environment.
• Comfort with operating point of sale (POS) systems.
• Fluent English spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Support Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Assist in behind-the-chair services including shampooing, conditioning, styling, and add-on services per guest request.
• Help achieve monthly sales goals through retail, services, and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and security of the Hair Color Bar.
• Learn Madison Reed systems and policies, supporting a smooth operation.
