Job summary

Madison Reed is looking for a Hair Color Bar Assistant to support licensed colorists and the shift lead, delivering a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. You will assist with consultations, color care products, shampooing, blowouts and membership services while learning to advance to a Licensed Colorist role.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail; salon/beauty industry experience preferred.
• Effective communication, strong problem solving and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and develop teamwork to provide a guest experience aligned with our values.
• Perform behind-the-chair services such as assisting in finishing services and shampooing and conditioning.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and other KPIs, including retail sales, services, memberships.
• Ensure Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and assets security.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through increasing the average service ticket and selling memberships/subscriptions.
• Take a proactive approach by learning and supporting the Assistant Colorist in training.
• Colorist-to-Colorist training to grow your career within Madison Reed.
