Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is seeking a Hair Color Bar Assistant, Licensed Cosmetologist to support the Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead. Learn services, delight guests, and prepare for promotion to Licensed Colorist while contributing to a busy, friendly environment.

This role offers base hourly pay plus commissions and tips, with potential earnings of $29–$30 per hour at this location. Availability at peak times is required, and the position can be full or part time.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state of application.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail; beauty/salon experience preferred.
• Effective communication, problem solving and people skills in a fast-paced retail/salon.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead to deliver guest experience.
• Assist in finishing services and perform shampooing, styling, blowouts, and color add-ons as requested.
• Support achieving monthly sales goals including retail, services and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security in the Hair Color Bar.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
