Job summary

NOVA Behavioral Health is seeking a Habilitation Technician to support adults with developmental and mental health disabilities in residential and day programs. You will provide guidance, supervision, and training to consumers and staff per Habilitation Plans, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment and meeting basic needs.

We offer Full time and Part time roles at $14.50 per hour, with benefits including 401(k), dental, health, life, vision, and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• The desire to make a difference in the lives of adults with developmental and mental health disabilities.
• Required: High School Diploma & Valid NC Driver's License
• Preferred: Experience in Human Services & Residential Care

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, supervision and training to consumers and staff in accordance with policy, procedure, and Habilitation Plans in the residential and/or day treatment setting.
• Ensure that the residential and/or day program environment is safe, clean, therapeutic, and that basic consumer needs are met.

About the Position:

• The Habilitation Technician helps build a better future for consumers by providing guidance, supervision and training to consumers and staff in accordance with policy, procedure, and Habilitation Plans in the residential and/or day treatment setting. The Habilitation Technician is responsible for ensuring that the residential and/or day program environment is safe, clean, therapeutic, and that basic consumer needs are met.
