Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for compassionate personal care assistants to support individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in their daily activities. In this role, you will assist clients with personal care, accompany them on errands, and engage in community integration activities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and experience working with I/DD individuals is preferred, though training is available. The position offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with I/DD individuals; if not, training is available.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance like dressing and grooming.
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Engage in clients' hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.
